The Drenaline Surf series is one of those series you can’t put down and will want to read straight through. Always Summer follows Haley in the aftermath of some events that threaten her new beginning in Crescent Cove with Drenaline Surf, and it’s quite the crazy ride full of mystery and mayhem as secrets are revealed to the world and everyone struggles with soiled reputations while trying to stay afloat in the surf world.I didn’t stay long out of the Drenaline Surf Series and started reading Always Summer a few days after I finished Rough Waters because I couldn’t wait. I just love Haley, her roommates, and the Hooligans so much that I miss them now that I’m through. Always Summer stepped up a notch in the mystery and drama, and I had so many feelings. I was literally angry that someone was trying to mess with my friends/peeps/squad/surf family. Nikki always manages to send me on a rollercoaster ride when it comes to the characters I love. One minute I love a love interest, and then the next, I want to slap some sense into them.
My favorite scenes took place between Haley and Colby, the surfer she originally chased across the country. They’re two outsiders in a world where everyone sticks together, and I loved that about them. I loved that they stuck together when everything was falling apart. The dynamic friendships of the Drenaline Surf Series are what I love most and keeps me reading. Nikki’s Always Summer gives me major friendship goals.

I've followed the Drenaline Surf series from the beginning. I loved the first two books and couldn't wait for the third. I feel like it was just getting to the good part, where you knew there would be a plot twist or some crazy information about to be shared, and then it ended. I'm really hoping that there will be a 4th book, because I need to know what happens to the Drenaline Surf family.
Always Summer makes the perfect addition to the already fabulous Drenaline Surf Series. Filled with all of my favorite characters from Crescent Cove, I enjoyed every page in this installment. Nikki always brings her best to every book and Always Summer is no exception. If you have read the other books I'm this series you won't want to miss this one!
This series keeps me wanting more! I have loved all of the books so far and this one is no exception. Haley and the rest of the Drenaline Surf crew are back and the drama continues as they try to deal with all of the issues that are going on in the surf world. I won't go into much detail but I will say that the cliff hanger at the end has had me thinking all day, it's making me crazy!!! Even though I know it's going to be a long wait it will be worth it to find out what happens next!
Reading this story was like watching ten different soap operas in a row.
Wow. Just, wow. So many plot twists in one book, and all I can say without giving anything away (okay, aside from me wanting A.J. as a best friend) is that I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. Once again this series keeps me surprised and entertained.
I am one of the (apparent) few who read AGOS and decided to read everything else N.Godwin has been writing. While I do enjoy reading the Saturn series more (because of the type of person I am), I have also thoroughly enjoyed Drenaline. I wait for all these books eagerly and have been saddened to learn that not everyone feels the same way, to this I say that while Drenaline surf is currently breaking my heart and I am hoping that the final book comes out immediately, I do think it lost a little bit of the hope that started the series. Haley started her journey chasing after the young dreamer (Colby Taylor) and the first book showed how what you imagine people to be can change, young somewhat cynical dreamers can become hardened and paranoid. While I love the Topher romance, the ending left me wanting and I hope that far in the future when the final book is published we the fans can get a little more closure on the Haley/Vin/Topher relationship and that the dreamer Haley comes back, at least a bit
I absolutely adored the third book of the Drenaline Surf. I think that with each installment, the characters become more and more complex. I love this as it leads to so many surprises and twists. It is definitely a wonderful continuation of the series and keeps it very fresh. I have enjoyed reading about Colby more and seeing more interaction between him and Haley. I do miss Vin, but I really think the dynamic in the book would have suffered if he was present. I would like to see more of Colby/Haley interaction in future. I think we've seen some of their relationship but not its full depth. There is so much potential there (and I'm not talking about romance) that could really explode and become interesting. I can't wait to come back to Crescent Cove!
I can not wait for the next book, even knowing it's going to be a long wait. This was another great addition to the Drenaline series. I like that it's not a romance about Haley and her relationships, it's about this business and keeping Shark's dream alive. I also really like that Haley is trying to get that magical feeling back from chasing her forever. It ties the three stories together and just goes to show how not everything works out the way you want them to.
It's inspiring to see how much heart and hard work these "outsiders" are putting into a place that has become home to them. This series makes me feel like a part of the Drenaline family and I really can't imagine what's going to happen after this cliff hanger.
